The Harrison Festival of the Arts is a 10-day festival at Harrison Hot Springs in the Fraser Valley that features an art market, workshops and concerts.

In 2018 the Harrison Festival of the Arts took place during the week of July 6-15. The festival’s dates in 2019 are July 12-21.

For over 40 years Harrison Hot Springs has been celebrating this fabulous family-friendly event each summer with both national and international artists.

At the festival there is live music of all kinds, visual arts displays, an art market, art workshops and an evening of live theatre. There is also a special day for children.

Many of the activities at the Harrison Festival of the Arts are free or by donation, while others are ticketed. Concerts take place outdoors by the waterfront and each evening there is a live performance of some kind at the Harrison Memorial Hall which is located at 290 Esplanade Avenue.

The waterfront art market at the Harrison Festival of the Arts is free and concerts on the outdoor stage are almost free – attendance requires the purchase of a Festival Button for a “donation” of at least $2. Other events and activities cost more.

For some of the indoor concerts individual tickets start at about $27 for adults and $25 for students and seniors. The one evening of live theatre and the Literary Café both cost about $15.

TIP: If you plan to attend all or at least most of the shows at the Memorial Hall, with one taking place each evening, then buy a Full Festival Pass which gives you access to all nine performances. Full Festival Passes cost about $160 for adults depending on how far in advance you make your purchase.
